These terms are the agreement between you and Testify about using the app and the website. By creating an account you accept them, together with the Privacy Policy — a separate page that explains what we store and who else sees it. If something here does not suit you, the honest option is not to use Testify.

You sign in with an email address, or through Google or Apple. Keep your sign-in to yourself: everything done under it counts as done by you. You must be at least 13 years old to use Testify.

Everything you add — recordings, links, files, pasted notes — remains yours. So does everything Testify builds from it: transcripts, quizzes, questions, results. We claim no rights to any of it, never show it to other users and never use it for anything except running Testify for you.

So that the app can work at all, you allow us to store this material and process it with AI — including sending it to Google (Gemini API), which does the transcribing, question-writing and grading. This permission exists solely to provide the service and ends when you delete the material or the account. The details of storage are in the Privacy Policy.

Add only material you have the right to study from: your own notes and recordings, lectures shared with you, public articles and videos.

Do not add content that is illegal, someone's paid course you have no right to copy, recordings of people made without their consent, or other people's personal data. You are responsible for what you upload; material that breaks these rules may be removed.

Testify makes a transcript and questions out of whatever you add, and that copy exists for your own studying — no other user can see it, and we publish nothing. Even so, the right to use the material has to be yours: by adding a recording, a link, a file or a text you confirm that you may use it this way, because it is your own, because it was shared with you, or because it is public.

If you hold the rights to something and believe it ended up in Testify without your permission, write to support@gettestify.app. Tell us what the material is — a link, a title, enough to recognise it — what right you hold and how to reach you. We will look into it, and where the complaint is justified we delete the material together with everything built from it, tell the person who added it why, and close the account if it keeps happening. Testify is made by one person, so the honest promise is days rather than minutes — but every message is read by a human, and you get an answer either way.

Transcripts, quizzes, explanations and grades are produced by AI, and AI makes mistakes: a question can be imprecise, the grade of an open answer unfair, a timecode slightly off. Treat Testify as a study aid, not a source of truth — when it matters, check the original lecture.

Quiz scores are a helper for self-assessment. They are not an official measure of knowledge and not professional advice of any kind.

AI features come with monthly allowances that are yours personally, not shared with other users: how many quizzes you may create, how many of those may come from video or audio, and how many AI requests all of it may take together. They start over at the beginning of each calendar month, counted in UTC. What you have left is shown in your profile, and when an allowance runs out the app says which one it was and when it comes back. Everything already created keeps working.

Separately from your allowances there are technical safeguards: a cap on how many AI requests one account can make within an hour, and the daily quota our AI provider gives us for the whole app. These are not part of your tier — they can hold transcription or generation back for a while even when your monthly allowance still has room.

Do not try to bypass any of this or send automated requests: the limits are what keeps the free tier alive. They may change as Testify grows.

Testify is free to use. PRO is an optional auto-renewable subscription sold in two lengths — one month and one year. It raises the monthly allowances from 6 quizzes (2 of them from video or audio) to 50 quizzes (25 from video or audio). Everything you already created keeps working whether you subscribe or not.

Price. Prices differ by country, so we do not print them here: you see the exact amount and period on the PRO screen and again in Apple's confirmation window, before anything is charged. Payment is taken by Apple through your App Store account, not by us.

Free trial. New subscribers get 3 days free. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, it turns into a paid subscription automatically.

Renewal and cancellation. The subscription renews by itself at the end of each period unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before that. Cancelling is done in the App Store, not in Testify — no app is able to cancel a subscription for you: Settings → your name → Subscriptions, or from Profile → Manage subscription, which opens the same page. After cancelling you keep PRO until the end of the period you already paid for; the unused part of that period is not refunded.

You can leave at any moment: Profile → Delete account removes the account and everything attached to it, permanently. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or harms the service — if that ever happens, we will say why.

Testify is provided as it is. We work on keeping it fast and reliable, but we cannot promise uninterrupted service, and features may change or disappear. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses caused by using — or not being able to use — Testify. Nothing here limits the rights that consumer law gives you.

These terms are governed by the law of Ukraine; if the law of the country where you live gives you extra mandatory protections, they stay with you.

If Testify came to you from the App Store, Apple's standard terms for apps apply on top of these. Apple is not a party to this agreement: it is not responsible for Testify and has no obligations to you regarding the app or its content.

If these terms change in a way that affects you, we will say so in the app before the change takes effect. Using Testify after that means you accept the updated terms.

Ми не претендуємо на жодні права, ніколи не показуємо це іншим користувачам і не використовуємо ні для чого, крім роботи Testify для тебе.

Щоб застосунок узагалі міг працювати, ти дозволяєш нам зберігати цей матеріал і обробляти його ШІ — зокрема надсилати в Google (Gemini API), який робить розшифровку, складає питання й оцінює відповіді. Додавай лише матеріал, з якого маєш право вчитися: власні конспекти й записи, лекції, якими з тобою поділилися, публічні статті та відео.

Не можна додавати незаконний вміст, чужий платний курс, якого ти не маєш права копіювати, записи людей без їхньої згоди та чужі персональні дані. За те, що ти завантажуєш, відповідаєш ти; матеріал, який порушує ці правила, може бути видалений.

Testify робить із того, що ти додав, розшифровку й питання, і ця копія існує для твого власного навчання — жоден інший користувач її не бачить, і ми нічого не публікуємо. Але право користуватися матеріалом мусить бути твоїм: додаючи запис, посилання, файл або текст, ти підтверджуєш, що маєш право використовувати його саме так — бо він твій, бо ним із тобою поділилися, або бо він публічний.

Якщо права на щось твої і ти вважаєш, що це потрапило в Testify без твого дозволу, напиши на support@gettestify.app. Скажи, про який матеріал ідеться — посилання, назва, достатньо, щоб його впізнати, — яке право ти маєш і як з тобою зв’язатися. Ми розберемося, і якщо скарга обґрунтована, видалимо матеріал разом з усім, що з нього зроблено, скажемо тому, хто його додав, чому це сталося, і закриємо акаунт, якщо повториться. Testify робить одна людина, тож чесна обіцянка — це дні, а не хвилини; але кожен лист читає людина, і відповідь ти отримаєш у будь-якому разі.

Розшифровки, квізи, пояснення й оцінки робить ШІ, а ШІ помиляється: питання може бути неточним, оцінка відкритої відповіді — несправедливою, таймкод — трохи зсунутим. Стався до Testify як до помічника в навчанні, а не як до джерела істини: коли це важливо, звіряйся з самою лекцією.

Бали квізів — підмога для самоперевірки. Це не офіційна оцінка знань і не професійна порада.

Можливості ШІ мають місячні норми, і вони твої особисті, а не спільні з іншими користувачами: скільки квізів можна створити, скільки з них — з відео чи аудіо, і скільки звернень до ШІ на все це разом. Норми починаються заново на початку кожного календарного місяця, за UTC. Залишок видно в профілі, а коли норма закінчується, застосунок каже, яка саме і коли вона повернеться. Усе вже створене працює далі.

Окремо від твоїх норм є технічні запобіжники: межа на кількість звернень до ШІ з одного акаунта за годину і денна квота, яку дає нам постачальник ШІ на весь застосунок. Це не частина твого тарифу — вони можуть на якийсь час затримати розшифровку чи генерацію навіть тоді, коли в місячній нормі ще є місце.

Не намагайся це обходити чи слати автоматичні запити: саме ліміти тримають безкоштовний доступ живим. Із ростом Testify вони можуть змінюватися.

Користуватися Testify можна безкоштовно. PRO— необов’язкова передплата з автоматичним поновленням, у двох варіантах: на місяць і на рік. Вона піднімає місячні норми з 6 квізів (з них 2 на відео чи аудіо) до 50 квізів (з них 25 на відео чи аудіо). Усе, що ти вже створив, працює далі — незалежно від того, є передплата чи ні.

Ціна. Ціни різні в різних країнах, тож ми їх тут не друкуємо: точну суму й період ти бачиш на екрані PRO і ще раз у вікні підтвердження Apple — до того, як щось списано. Гроші бере Apple через твій акаунт App Store, а не ми.

Пробний період. Новим передплатникам дається 3 дні безкоштовно. Якщо не скасувати щонайменше за 24 години до кінця цих днів, передплата стає платною автоматично.

Поновлення й скасування. Передплата поновлюється сама в кінці кожного періоду, якщо не скасувати її щонайменше за 24 години до цього. Скасування відбувається в App Store, а не в Testify — жоден застосунок не може скасувати передплату за тебе: Параметри → своє ім’я → Передплати, або Профіль → Керувати передплатою, що відкриває ту саму сторінку. Після скасування PRO лишається до кінця вже оплаченого періоду; невикористана частина цього періоду не повертається.

Піти можна будь-якої миті: Профіль → Видалити акаунт прибирає акаунт і все пов’язане з ним — назавжди. Ми можемо призупинити або закрити акаунт, який порушує ці умови чи шкодить сервісу, — якщо таке колись станеться, ми скажемо чому.

Testify надається таким, яким є. Ми працюємо над тим, щоб він був швидким і надійним, але не обіцяємо безперервної роботи, а можливості можуть змінюватися чи зникати. Тією мірою, якою дозволяє закон, ми не відповідаємо за непрямі втрати від користування Testify чи неможливості ним користуватися. Ніщо тут не обмежує прав, які тобі дає законодавство про захист споживачів.

Ці умови регулюються правом України; якщо право країни, де ти живеш, дає тобі додатковий обов’язковий захист, він лишається з тобою.

Якщо Testify встановлено з App Store, до цих умов додаються стандартні умови Apple для застосунків. Apple не є стороною цієї домовленості: вона не відповідає за Testify і не має щодо нього зобов’язань перед тобою.

Якщо ці умови зміняться так, що це тебе стосується, ми скажемо про це в застосунку до того, як зміна набере чинності. Користування Testify після цього означає згоду з оновленими умовами.
